AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): On Thursday unemployed radiographers placed a deputation to Health Department seeking Recruitment.

A job aspirant stated that before the Election, the Qualified Candidates Placed Deputation seeking Recruitment.

On that time the office of the Health Services assured the Candidates that Recruitment will be done as there are shortages of Radiographers in Hospitals.

It has seen several District Hospitals established and several X-Ray and CT Scan Machines set up but due to shortages of staffs the services in the Hospitals have been disrupted, said a Radiographer before the media. The Radiographer also said that recruitment should be done to develop the Health Services.

It is said that around 350-400 unemployed Radiographers are there in entire state. Also said that in 2022, the Govt had published Notification for Radiographer Recruitment for 106 vacant posts but no recruitment Process has started. The qualified candidate also said that after 2017 no recruitment has been done under Radiography post.

As a result the qualified candidates demanded the Department to take a responsible role to recruit them.
