AGARTALA, May 3 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday while addressing NSS’s program on Anti-Drug mission, stated that since 70’s time, an international intrigue is working against India to destroy the nation and drug was used as the weapon to destroy the generation. “The attempt started since 70’s time and now it’s the peak period. Sometimes, I feel so sad to see how the generation is being ruined due to drug abuse”, said CM.

“The blood which is meant to purify the body, it’s now abused with drug. Not only body is getting damaged but AIDS are also spreading rapidly. Overall, it’s a strange phenomenon that has gripped the country”, said CM Manik Saha.

CM was addressing at NSS blood donation program of "Nesha Mukt Tripura" and appealed to youths to come forward against Drug abuses.
