AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): Based on secret information, a large amount of illegal liquor was recovered by Kailashahar Police. Along with that, two liquor sellers were arrested. The incident took place on Sunday night in Khasiamangal area under Teliamura police station. According to the report, the police of Teliamura police station received information that illegal liquor was stocked in a shop in Khasiamangal area.
On receiving this information, the police of Teliamura police station raided the Khasiamangal area and the police of the police station recovered 140 bottles of illegal liquor and two liquor sellers named Nayan Kumar Roy and Pritam Debnath who were involved in this incident were also arrested by the police and brought to Teliamura police station.
The police of Teliamura police station said that the market value of the seized illegal liquor could be approximately Rs. 25,000.
