AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): Increasing theft cases have hit capital city Agartala. In a flat, bikes were stolen even though security personnel is salaried by the housing committee of Rabindra residency to take care of the safety measurement. Talking to a resident, Tapas Das, he said that there might be an involvement of the security personnel. He further said, “Many bikes were stolen from the residence and there is no proper answer to the security personnel. In the morning, I found that my bike is not there. Soon we came to know that many bikes were taken away. We have talked to the security personnel but they said, they have no idea”.
Getting information, police rushed to the spot and started an investigation.
Theft incidents have turned challenging for the police across Tripura. Thousands of theft cases are not being registered, such allegations have come many times from the victims.
