AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): A worker died after he was struck by lightning while working in a rubber garden.

The worker is identified as Amal Krishna Tripura (23). The incident took place in Rajban Para of Mohini Nagar ADC Village under Bilonia PS. Amal Krishna Tripura's body was burnt by lightning while working in a rubber plantation and he died on spot.

Presently, the body has been kept at Belonia Hospital morgue for post-mortem. The incident cast a shadow of mourning in the area.
