AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN): Tripura Mid Day Meal workers Union placed deputation to the Director of Shiksha Bhawan on various issues on Monday. After placing deputation, President of Tripura Mid-Day Meal workers Union confronting media said that after changing Govt in 2018 around 450 Mid-Day Meal workers had been kicked out forcefully and no documents were provided to them as they were terminated. The union had protested against it but they were not reinstated and now after formation of this Govt, same thing is being done by the Govt, said the President.

It is alleged that without proper reasons the Mid-Day Meal workers are being terminated, also any type od Document not given to the workers so then they can take help of Law

It is said that only with Rs 1,500 the Mid-Day meal workers are working and with this less amount they are unable to run their families, though the ruling Govt has increased their amount but not yet implemented it.

The director, however, assured the Tripura Mid Day Meal workers Union to play role accordingly.
