AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): BJP candidate, MLA Biswabandhu Sen has won the speaker post in Speaker’s poll.

Biswabandhu Sen becomes Tripura Assembly Speaker with 32 votes.

Opposition Congress candidate Gopal Roy got 14 votes.

Tipra Motha did not cast votes, as the party MLAs had walked out of the Assembly ahead of the poll with sitting arrangement issue.
