AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): Local people of East Chanmari area in GB are suffering from water Crisis. It is reported that the local people are suffering from the last 3-4 days, Shortages of drinking water hits in the area which erupted huge angst among local people.

The matter was reported to the Counsellor but nothing was happened, the matter was reported to the MLA too but no initiative yet has taken so then the local people can get minimum water for them. Local people are now demanding that the local authority should arrange water in the area and to fix the non-functional water pump machine so then they could not suffer from getting drinking water.

It is now to be seen what stern action the local authority will take to provide drinking water in the East Chanmari area.
