BELONIA, March 13 (TIWN): Living room with kitchen of a house completely gutted by fire. Along with that, all the household items and a Maruti car were burnt to ashes.

The name of the owner of the house is Narayan Pal. The source of the fire is not known, but initially it is assumed that the fire started from the kitchen gas stove.

Two fire engines rushed to the spot after receiving the incident’s report.

The nearby houses were saved by the efforts of the locals of the area and the fire brigade.

The fire incident took place on Monday afternoon in Belonia Kalinagar area.

Belonia police visited the spot. An investigation has started on how the fire started.

It is said that the amount of damage was fifty to fifty lakh rupees. A total of five residential houses including a rented house were burnt to ashes.
