AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): Govt changes and new leaders sit in Power but the Health Services in rural areas have remained same due to shortages of Doctors, nurses.
It is reported that a serious patient on Saturday evening came to Vaishnabpur Health Center in Sabroom sub-division to get treatment. But after reaching at the Health Center, the Patient party noticed No Doctor was present at the Health Center. Not only that also the patient party did not get the Privilege of an Ambulance.
Centering the indiscipline the Patient party hung lock at the Baishnabpur Health center located in Sabroom sub-division.
The local people alleged that they would hang the lock until no Doctor is recruiting at the Health Center. Also, it is said that no official from Higher Authority came to the spot after the hanged lock.
Such type of Poor Health Services in rural areas is nothing new and often it happens. As a result people from remote areas are being deprived of getting basic treatment during a critical situation.
