AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): An ASI mysteriously died at Chanpur near Sawmill in Kashipur. The ASI was identified as Kamal Debnath of RanirBazar area. He was recovered in a blood spots in Chanpur area.

It is known Kamal Debnath was returning to his home at Ranirbazar Durganagar on his bike after completing his duty at Battala outpost. But Kamal Debnath’s bloodied body rescued on the National Highway in Kashipur area. Immediately he was taken to GB Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Primary investigation declares that a vehicle hit ASI Kamal Debnath which caused him to death. Oppositely, the family alleged that he was killed after physical assault.

However, the reason for the death will come out after a proper investigation.
