He was brought to GB Hospital in critical condition.

“I came to work in the morning but they (BJP workers) started beating me up. Can’t we come out of home because we are from Opposition Parties? My house was also vandalized after Election result. I did not complain and today they attacked me and hit on my head with bricks”, the victim said.

Some of the names could be taken by the victim are --- Bappa Deb, Biplab, Shekar Talukdar, Kudu, Katan Das. Around 10 people allegedly attacked him.
