AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Saha’s name has been announced as the next Chief Minister of Tripura for another tenure.
Saha was first appointed as CM on May 14, 2022 after BJP High Command decided to sack Biplab Deb due to extreme negative reports, misrule and scandals of Biplab Deb. Then Biplab Deb was not given ticket for 2023 Assembly poll.
This news of appointing Manik Saha as CM has triggered festival mood in the BJP and party workers across the state had burnt fire crackers.
Manik Saha then submitted memorandum to the Governor seeking permission for Govt formation.
Tripura Cabinet Ministers’ names will be announced shortly and on 8th March in presence of PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president J.P.Nadda oath taking program will be held.
