AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): On Sunday night in Subal Singh Hejamara area, three youths led by a youth named Swapan Debbarma attacked five persons with sharp knives. After stabbed 5 seriously injured and was hospitalized.

Injured Amar Debbarma alleged that a young man named Swapan Debbarma beat up Amar Debbarma's grandfather over a petty issue and while Amar Debbarma proceeded to save his own grandfather, three young men led by Swapan Debbarma attacked Amar Debbarma along with five members of his family with sharp knives.

Centering the incident five members of his family, including Amar Debbarma, were bloodied. Later, locals came forward and rescued Amar Debbarma and his family members and took them to the local hospital, from where the injured persons were referred to GB Hospital for better treatment.

The injured are under treatment in hospital in critical condition, presently.

Injured Amar Debbarma also said that he will file a case against three youths including Swapan Debbarma.
