AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): For a peaceful vote counting, section-144 has been implemented in Tripura from today evening till March 3rd morning 6 am. Talking to media, SDPO Sadar Ajay Kumar Das said that any miscreant who will try to create disturbance will not be spared.
On being asked about the firecracker burning, Ajay Kumar Das said, “In Sadar, No Fire Cracker was burnt and if anyone takes such attempt, immediate action will be taken against them”.
Flag March was organized by police today afternoon.
Tripura Election results will be declared tomorrow. The Assembly Poll was held on 16th February.
Various security measures have been taken to ensure no violence can take place as Tripura Election is right now a very sensitive issue and extra security measures have been put into force where the areas are critical in matter of law and order.
