AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): It is known a meeting was supposed to organize in Jorpukur area in Charilam to win Ashok Debbarma, the Congress candidate of CPI(M) and Congress alliance. Accordingly, the CPIM-Comgress supporters jointly decorated the area with flags. But the ruling BJP miscreants burnt all the CPI(M) and Congress’s party flags in Jorpukur area in Bishramganj, threw them in ponds, drains, on trees late on Saturday night.

The incident came to light on Sunday morning, and after getting this news, Congress and CPI(M) workers rushed to the area and condemned the incident.

The opposition CPIM-Congress supporters stated that they will file a case against the BJP miscreants in Bishramganj PS.
