AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): STGT Qualified candidates have demanded all qualified candidates' recruitment immediately. The candidates expressed resentment against Ratan Lal Nath’s fresh statement of reviewing STGT candidates’ files and Govt’s intention to recruit only 230 candidates when 6,000 posts are vacant going to lapse. STGT qualified candidates expressed resentment over Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s role who is just confusing the candidates by giving various kinds of statements and pushing the candidates to the Deputy CM’s home. The STGT candidates who are expecting to be passed after seeing the answer-sheet told media that as their ultimate goal is to get jobs before the election, they will do it anyhow through protests.
The candidates announced that they will protest in bigger forms.
“We can not tolerate that level of injustice. We are already on road. In future we will form bigger forms of protests. If needed with family we will be on road to protest. Before Election, we want our recruitment process should be completed. Till now our results have not been declared”, said a job aspirant.
“Schools are suffering due to teachers’ shortage. When students are on road seeking teachers, we are on road seeking recruitment. How can quality education be given if that attitude of the Govt persists?”
