AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): BJP before 2018 Election promised the 10323 teachers that their problems will be permanently solved once the BJP comes to power but after five years of passage when the next Election is knocking the door, there is no intention of the Govt to restore their jobs. Joint Movement Committee led by all 10323 teachers’ organization held Mahakaran Abhijan program seeking their jobs back. The main appeal was to the Chief Minister to restore their jobs as all the BJP CMs had continued to promise. Family members of the 10323 teachers also joined the protest. Many of them were seen crying in front of media while explaining how their families are suffering. 10323 teachers asked the Govt to keep its pre-election promises. 10323 teachers lost their jobs in Supreme Court’s verdict and BJP as opposition in 2018 promised that it will solve the 10323 teachers’ problems once the party is in power via a constitutional amendment.
However, 10323 teachers’ recently got a legal point via Supreme Court’s RTI reply which says that not all 10323 teachers were part of the verdict.
