TIWN Dec 20, 2022

AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): STGT-qualified job aspirants who faced a lot of harassment, police brutality in the last few months after they protested in front of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s home, have finally received some hopes about recruitment after they met Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman at his residence. At first the job aspirants met Education Minister but he sent them back empty handed saying, he has not received any approval from the Finance Dept about recruitment. Then the job aspirants rushed to Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman’s home.
Jishnu Debbarman talked to the job aspirants personally and understood the matter. The job aspirants requested the Deputy CM to save them and recruit them before the election.
Finally, the Deputy CM assured the job aspirants that their request will be reviewed and that he will sit with Chief Minister and also talk to Education Minister about recruitment.
However Jishnu Debbarma said that it's a wrong idea that Finance Minister is responsible for all recruitment. He clarified that it's not a single Minister but a matter of collective decision taken by the cabinet.
(Noteworthy, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath continuously telling the candidates and also media that recruitment depends upon Finance Dept's approval).
