AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): Bashing the claims of Narendra Modi Govt for gifting Tripura a HIRA model, CPI-M National Leader Brinda Karat said, “Tripura is now undergoing Drug Model, rather a HIRA model”.
Brinda Karat arrived in Agartala to attend CPI-M’s women’s wing program. She was asked by journalists about her comment on PM Modi’s claim about HIRA model.
In reply she said, “HIRA Model ? What kind of Model is this ? Tripura is now facing drug-related problems. Ask these women with me. It’s literally a Drug-Model”.
"Tripura was never like this before. Under the Modi Govt and his party leaders, Tripura's condition is now pathetic. Only addiction diseases are everywhere. Ultimate sufferers are mostly women", said Brinda Karat.
