AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): CPIM held a house-to-house campaign in Booth No. 49, Kailashahar under the leadership of MLA Mobassar Ali. He alleged that the BJP government is running a misrule in the name of good governance and the BJP government has not done anything according to the promises made to the people of the state before the establishment of the BJP government in the state in 2018.

However, the camp[aligning has been going on for the past one month, various programs including, door-to-door campaigns are going on in various areas in Kailasahar Assembly constituency under the leadership of MLA Mobaswar Ali. On Sunday CPIM leader Kanti Lal Deb, Arunabh Sarkar, Nachiketa Goswami, Pintu Pal, Women's leader Mukta Das were present in the door-to-door campaign in Kacherghat area in Booth No-49. Youth leader Robin Datta Chowdhury, and local heavyweight leaders of the area Supriya Debroy, Nilanjan Das and many others. The presence of party workers and supporters in door-to-door campaigns was noticeable.

During the campaign, MLA Mobaswar Ali, confronting the media, criticized the BJP government and said that the BJP government is running misrule in the name of good governance in the state.
