AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): Reportedly, Sarbang Bari High School's new building house was allotted to the few contractors of Udaipur. But residents of the area raised allegations of corruption in government construction work against the contractor who is close to the Matabari MLA.

The local residents complained that the two-storied paved house is being constructed with very low quality materials. It is known from the news that this contractor of Matabari is very close to the MLA as a result the MLA continues the construction work with low quality materials according to his own wish.

On Friday, residents of the area raised their voice against this work and stopped the construction work, noticing the ongoing corruption.

Local residents demand to work with proper construction materials.

Meanwhile, an RD officer rushed to the spot after receiving the news of the incident and also admitted the truth.
