AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): STGT Qualified candidates who have been protesting for months seeking recruitment, have warned the Education Dept that they will move to a bigger protest if their demands are not fulfilled. The STGT-qualified candidates brought a comparison who in comparison to previous years, they are now deprived to get jobs even after qualifying. The main concern of the STGT-qualified candidates is as the Election is approaching and less than two months remained for that there will be a closure of job recruitment. On the other hand, the STGT qualification certificate will turn invalid. With all these, the job aspirants protested in front of the Shiksha Bhawan on Thursday.
They have demanded all qualified candidates must be recruited together.
“In 2016-18 people got jobs after getting 52 on the merit list and since 2017 and then the minimum score is 75 but now after getting 75 also, we are not getting jobs. So we demand our recruitment immediately”, said an agitating job aspirant.
“We are roaming from door to door to get legal support but we are not getting any help. So we have bound to protest here because the allegations are coming against the TRBT. If we do not get any proper answer, we are going to start a massive movement”, said the agitating youth.
