AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): CITU placed deputation to the Labour Department for the benefit of brick kiln workers on various demands. Confronting media a member of CITU said that the Policies BJP Govt has been taking are all wrong as a result the Brick Kilns are reeling under the crisis of Coal.

So, CITU demanded that the Govt should take immediate initiative to finish up the Coal crisis, also demanded Pucca houses should be provided to the Brick kiln labourers. Demanded proper medical services to the Brick kiln labourers like Doctors and Medicines and to arrange an Electricity line in their houses.

It is demanded to provide safety to the women labourers at Brick Kiln and to provide financial assistance to the injured labourers at work place.

If demands are not met then CITU will go for a massive rally in the coming days.
