AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): Raising various issues CITU placed deputation to Transport Department by organising a huge rally in City Agartala.

In the rally a leftist leader alleged that after 2018, 3^rd March under BJP-IPFT aligned Govt, the transport department has collapsed,  Petrol, Diesel and all Automobile Machines Price hiked also the Insurance fee has increased. In this situation the income of all auto rickshaw and transport workers has decreased as a result, the auto rickshaw puller quitting their own profession moving towards other different professions, said the leader.

The leader also alleged that BJP backed BMS group, organising attack on CITU members who are protesting on various issues, also the Motorstands are captured by miscreants, alleged the leader. He also alleged that the miscreants setting fire on CITU member’s auto, also occupied CITU’s office and at various placed CITU’s offices were burnt.

Raising 14 points demand deputation placed to the Transport Department and it is said that if the Department doesn’t fulfil 14 points demand then the CITU organisation will go for massive protest.
