On this day, Teliamura police station SI Ronbrata Ghosh and SI Sukant Deb led an anti-ganja operation in Tuisindrai Bari area.

Acting on a tip-off, the operation managed to cut more than a hundred ganja plants on the banks of the river Khowai, along the main road from Tuisindrai to Rankhal Para.

Later, the cannabis plants were immediately burnt and destroyed.
