AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): A 23-year-old CPIM worker named Ashish Datta was beaten up by several BJP workers in Khowai Azhagar Tila area. It is known that the young man named Ashish Datta was stopped by several BJP workers on his way to the market from his home and beaten up without asking anything. BJP miscreants beat up brutally and in this attack the CPIM activist Ashish Datta received severe injury on his head.

Later, the family members of the injured youth rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and rescued Ashish Datt in a bloody state and first took him to the local hospital.

The injured youth said that he was beaten up by the BJP workers as he is a supporter of CPIM party. It is known that the injured Ashish Datta will file a case in PS.
