Addressing media, Congress MLA Sudip Barman said Congress as a “constructive opposition” will raise these issues on behalf of public as people across Tripura can’t reach out to the Govt with their all issues.

“The Govt had promised to convert the Old Jail into IT hub and our unemployed youths to be appointed. It was promised that AIIMS hospital to start. Can’t we ask as constructive opposition, what are the statuses of those projects”, said Barman.

The Congress MLA also informed that at least 47 Congress workers were attacked, injured by BJP goons in last few days of “Tripura Bachao” movement.

He further criticized the BJP Govt over vacant posts and non-recruitment of passed out candidates.

Barman also condemned the inhuman bulldozing of small shops without paying compensation to them and the looting of the shopkeepers’ all necessary items, money inhumanly.
