AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Several robberies cases were reported in the last few months across the state which generated fear among the state's people. Again a robbery incident was reported at Tilakpur area under Goldharpur Panchayat in Kailashahar on Monday late night around 1:30 am and the robbery incident took place at Subodra Sinha’s house.
It is reported that a group of 8-10 dacoits entered Subodra Sinha’s house and looted gold ornaments. The robbers also threatened the others that if they shout then the child will be attacked. Later, the victim started screaming out of fear and hearing screams the Dacoits fled from the scene before the neighbour's arrival.
Dacoits while leaving the house after taking all gold ornaments attacked 3 people in the house including a 90-year-old person.
In this attack, an elderly woman and a man was severely injured. Later the injured persons were taken to Unakoti District Hospital for treatment.
