BELONIA, Nov 21 (TIWN): The Bharat Jodo Padayatra program continues in Tripura. In Belonia Sub-division also, where BJP organized a massive attack on Day-1 the program continues with full enthusiasm on Day-3.
Former Congress MLA Dilip Chowdhury alleged that the attack on the peaceful marching by the BJP's bike force was due to the failure of the police to take action against BJP hooligans.
The former MLA said that even after they gave the road map to police, they did not allow the Congress workers to go to College Square, Amjad Nagar.
The march started from Belonia Congress Building.
Former MLA Dilip Chowdhury, Vice-President Bholanath Dar, Block Congress President Tamal Dhar, Congress leader Manik Das and other leaders took part in the march along with Congress workers and supporters.
