AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): One after another theft incidents have spread tension in Teliamura area under Teliamura PS. In the dark of night on Saturday, some rods were stolen from the newly constructed dumping station in Baralunga area under Teliamura police station by a group of thieves.
Reportedly, on Saturday like any other day, the workers engaged in the construction of the dumping station finished the work and arranged the rods and other items which were used in the construction work. Later on, Sunday morning, when the workers reached the construction site to start the work of the dumping station they found that the rods used in the construction work were missing. The construction workers complained that a group of thieves stole these rods in the darkness of Saturday night.
It is known that the value of the stolen rod is approximately Rs 20,000. It is said that a complaint will be filed at Teliamura PS regarding this theft incident.
