AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): As Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Saturday asked why did not CPI-M raise Kokborok implementation in the Agartala MBB Airport issue, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman asked him to get educated instead of jumping into making comments.

Showing a letter, Sudip Barman described how Jitendra Chowdhury as MP raised the issue in the Parliament and also from Central a positive response was given in 2016.

Barman also displayed how other leaders also shared positive dialogues about this including BJP Minister Rampada Jamatia’s similar request to the Central Govt.

“I do not understand why some new Ministers are always jumping to share comments in front media without knowing the facts. They must gain basic knowledge first and then should comment”, Barman said while addressing a program.

Sudip Barman raised the issue after Central Govt refused to start Kokborok announcement in Airport and when CPI-M state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury condemned Centre’s decision, Sushanta Chowdhury asked, why Jitendra Chowdhury did not raise the issue at Parliament before, whereas the issue was not raised by Jitendra Chowdhury but also was discussed in brief and centre gave a positive response to it and the announcement also started in 2016.
