AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Though the ultimate decision to be made by the Central BJP regarding Tripura Assembly 2023 Election candidates’ list, inside the Tripura BJP massive chaos and competitions have started to bag their own MLA tickets.

Local reports stated that in Agartala candidates are to be reshuffled or changed and many candidates including Rebati Mohan Das, Mimi Majumder, Surajit Datta may not get the MLA ticket. In Banamlipur constituency massive rush is being noticed. Party State President Rajib Bhattacharjee is trying to enter Banamalipur though the party wants him from Kamalasagar.

Mayor Dipak Majumder is also in need of an MLA ticket from Agartala. However, doubt remains over the Agartala-6 constituency where no BJP leader wants to fight due to Congress MLA Sudip Barman’s unbeatable support base at there.

It’s in a talk that MP cum BJP Central Minister Pratima Bhowmik wants to become the next Chief Minister and she is hoping for a ticket for Bishalgarh constituency though In Bishalgarh earlier it was heard that BJP youth leader Nabadul Banik would be the perfect candidate.

On the other hand, in Badharghat, BJP’s one section wants former MLA Dilip Sarkar’s sister Mina Sarkar would be the next candidate replacing the existing MLA Mimi Majumder. Mimi was never a choice of local BJP because of her no-link and no previous record of her connection with BJP before she entered politics directly through Biplab Deb as an MLA candidate.

However, in other Districts also BJP’s infighting is under report although the Central BJP is to make the list final based on internal reports.
