AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): On Oct month the Umakanta English Medium School was opened and on that day a School teacher identified as Goutam Rudra Pal severally beaten up a School Student of Class-10 named Anurag Roy and he is currently undergoing treatment at outside of state. Centering the incident SFI placed deputation to the Head Teacher of Shishu Bihar School demanding severe punishment of the teacher.
SFI demanded the matter should be investigated properly.
Besides, a SFI leader criticized the Vidyajyoti Scheme as the Scheme has pushed the student’s life towards a dark future. He also alleged that the Umakanta English Medium School despite falling under Vidyajyoti Scheme the School reels under teacher crisis, resulting the students’ lives being pushed towards the dark future.
