AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): Ambulance was vandalized by patient parties after a patient died in Bishalgarh subdivisional hospital. The entire incident generated a panic situation in the hospital zone.
Reportedly, a patient named Biswajit Nama of Gokulnagar was hospitalized on Tuesday. Patient parties requested Doctors to refer him to GB as they complained no proper treatment was given to him at Bishalgarh hospital.
After checking, Doctor referred the patient but ambulance was delayed being provided. When the ambulance was given it was too late and the patient died.
This incident generated resentment among the patient parties. Allegedly, they had vandalized the ambulance.
Due to lack of insufficient equipment and Doctors’ crisis, similar conditions are being faced by the patient parties across Tripura.
