AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): Amid Chief Minister Manik Saha’s tall claims on Wednesday that crime rates have decreased in Tripura, there is hardly a day when violence or attacks are not being reported.

CPI-M party office was vandalized on Tuesday night by miscreants. Today, CPI-M leaders including former Minister, MLA Bhanulal Saha visited the spot and talked to police.

The office was closed since 2018 election result due to BJP’s statewide attacks. Yesterday after 4 years and 8 months, the office was reopened. Yesterday night, the party office was attacked and the party flag was downed, and set on fire.

However, Bishalgarh Police rushed to the spot and saved the office from total damage. Nobody could be arrested in connection to the incident.
