AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): Ruling party BJP has intensified attacks statewide through paid goons allegedly aiming to restore the mask-gang, helmet-gang, bike-gang culture centering the upcoming 2023 Assembly Election, which is the most important Election for any state deciding the next five years’ ruling party in power. Multiple attack incidents took place in Tripura in last 48 hours where opposition women activists were also faced severe attacks. Congress protested on Tuesday against the statewide attacks on Congress activists.

In Indra Nagar Kali Bari area during Indira Gandhi’s death anniversary observation on Monday BJP goons wearing black-masks attacked the Congress workers and abused the women physically and mentally. But after all these, questions remain how far BJP can regenerate the fear-psychosis culture and many BJP workers were too injured in past few months when opposition parties have warned Police to take law in hands if necessary for their self-defence.

A video was made viral in Bagma where Congress workers were reattacking the BJP when the BJP tried to dismantle Congress program and in many similar incidents, BJP goons were seen escaping when are facing counter attacks.

On the other hand, ADC ruling party Tipra Motha has refused to compromise with BJP’s JUMLA and multiple violence incidents were reported between Tipra Motha and BJP.

All these instances show that people are fighting back well against the BJP’s bulldozer-culture which may put it in difficulties to relaunch the violence culture.

A survey has shown in last 6 months 8,000 violence happened under the BJP rule. Law and order has remained under continuous question marks. Except few, almost all media houses faced severe attacks under the BJP whereas a newspaper office was burnt, vandalized in broad daylight.
