AGARTALA, Sept 29 (TIWN): Tipra Motha demands Kokborok Language announcements in Agartala MBB Airport, raising this demand Youth TIPRA Federation placed deputation to the MBB Airport Authority in presence of Tipra Motha chief cum Royal Scion Pradyut Manikya.
Pradyut Manikya confronted media said, “Our demand is very clear, few years ago from today the Govt had assured that in Kokborok language too announcement will be happened in Agartala Airport, but if you see only English, Hindi and Bengali language announcement is there not Kokborok language”
Royal Scion Pradyot demanded a Tiprasa translator to be recruited in the MBB Airport for Kokborok Announcement.
He said that the statue of Maharaja Bir Bikram should be brought from the old Airport to set up the statue in the new Airport.
