AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): Ahead of Durga Puja Maharaj Ganj Bazar Outpost Police led a raid in MaharajGanj Bazar at various illegal liquor shops. During the raid a Police official said that the raid has been led to maintain peace and harmony in the City Agartala during the Durga Puja, the Police official also said that at various areas anti-liquor, anti-drugs raid is going on jointly by East PS Police and Maharaj Ganj Bazar Outpost Police.

Police said that those who are violating the laws and running trade illegally strict action will be taken against them according to the law and asked to stop their illegal trade.

Police also said that their anti-drugs operation will be continued.
