AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): Miscreants set fire in TVS Showroom in ONGC, Agartala on Friday night.

Though it is known that after the Hapania CPI-M meeting on Friday, some miscreants came to the TVS showroom and demanded Rs 5,000 and allegedly threatened the owner.

It is alleged that the fire was set based on the threat of not giving the demanded money. However, the owner was reluctant to brief about the sabotage fire before the media.

Almost everything burnt into ashes. Later Fire Service personnel on receiving news rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
