AGARTALA, Sep 18 (TIWN): Reportedly, a 14-wheeler lorry was stolen from the Bishalgarh police station area and on the way to escape the Teliamura police station intercepted the lorry from Jaruilong area under Teliamura PS based on GPS track. The lorry registered number- TR05-D-1828.

The thief was identified as Rafiq Alam. However, according to local sources, another young man was with Rafiq Alam but noticing Police presence the other thief ran away leaving the spot.

Later the police of Teliamura police station arrested the thief named Rafiq Alam and brought him to Teliyamura police station.

It is known that the thief was arrested by Teliamura police station Police will hand over to Bishalgarh police station along with the lorry respectively.
