AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): No glimpse of Achhe-Dine in ADC areas yet in Tripura either it’s about drinking water or road-ways condition. The ??Atharomura Hill area in Mungiakami R.D block locals has requested the Govt to end the drinking water crisis problems at the earliest. In an on-the-ground report, it was witnessed that there is an extreme crisis of drinking water in the whole area. From morning to evening, tribal women along with children have to sit and wait for water and DWS Dept also does not provide water on a regular basis and thus the villagers have to walk a long to collect few pots of water.
Often they have to rely on dirty water from raw wells or springs to meet their water needs.
Locals have requested the State Govt to end the drinking water crisis problem as before Election all political parties assure to address their problems but after election, no leader shows concerns about the villagers’ conditions.
