AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): Reportedly, Jayanta Bhowmik and his wife Sumitra Bhowmik were seriously injured after they were hit by a speeding car in Bishramganj area on their way to Udaipur from Kashipur area on their scooty.

Later, when the locals witnessed the incident, informed the matter to the local PS and Fire Department, the police rescued them and took them to the local Hospital.

Presently, the injured husband and wife are in critical condition. Due to the absence of family members, no details have yet been collected.
