AGARTALA, Sep 1 (TIWN): A Congress worker and his son attacked by miscreants In Sonatala area under Khowai PS. It is known that around 8 pm on Thursday, some miscreants primarily threatened Congress worker Chanu Das and his son Papai Das in Sonatala Bazar and then they were attacked. In this attack Chanu Das and his son Papai Das received severe injury.
Witnessing the attack on Congress activist, immediately the locals informed about the incident to the police of Khowai PS rushed to the spot and rescued them from the spot and brought them to the Khowai Hospital.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Khowai Hospital.
The brutal attack on opposition Congress activists has spread fear in the area among locals.
