AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): After BJP MLA Arun Bhowmik demanded the removal of Ratan Lal Nath from the Education Ministry alleging, Ratan Lal Nath always insults him, journalists sought Ratan Lal Nath’s reaction, but Ratan Lal Nath refused to counterattack Arun Bhowmik and said, he is a senior Politician and he must have pains but it is party’s duty to discuss the matter with him. “I request our party leadership to take care of the grievance of the MLA. At the same time, I am sorry if I have hurt him, though it’s never my intention”. Ratan Lal Nath literally remained tight-lipped over the matter but put light on the issues which were brought by MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmiik saying, College professors shortages are almost over and recruitments are underway.
Nath also added, that no student will be deprived of College Admission. However Ratan Lal Nath today evening looked less cheerful than his usual temperament of other days.
The issue erupted after BJP MLA Arun Bhowmik triggered storms of controversy after he accused Minister Ratan Lal Nath of insulting him and also creating problems in students’ lives.
The BJP MLA also demanded sacking of Ratan Lal Nath from the Ministry and giving the Education Dept to Minister Sushanta Chowdhury or Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty.
Arun Bhowmik also alleged, before Assembly Election 2018, Ratan Lal Nath often visited Guwahati to ensure his Ministry post if BJP wins the poll.
Both Arun Bhowmik and Ratan Lal Nath and all characters mentioned in the news like Sushanta Chowdhury, Ratan Chakraborty were in Congress party and joined BJP to help the party to win 2018 Tripura Assembly Election.
