BELONIA, July 21 (TIWN): For Class-1 to Class-5 in Abhoynagar primary school in Belonia subdivision, Tripura Govt has provided only 1 teacher.

The school was recently converted into an English Medium school.

The school is now for class-1 to class-12 and in the primary sections there is only 1 teacher.

Talking to the teachers in Belonia Abhonagar H/S School, one of the teachers said, “I am a teacher here for the last 4 years. Just before 15 days, our Headmaster was transferred. Now English Medium school was added with the 1-5 (Primary) classes. Total 60 students are there in the primary level classes and in upper primary that is from Class-6 to Class-12 there are 270 students who are enrolled. But only 14 teachers are in total appointed and in primary section only 1 teacher, which is an English Medium".
