KAILASHAHAR, July 20 (TIWN): Raising demands on 5 points, Congress held a sit-in-demonstration in front of Post Office in Kailashahar.

Demands raised Dak Banglow to Rangauti road should be repaired, Sai Computer Corruption should be stopped, to provide pesticides and fertilizers to the farmers, Manu river embankment should be repaired.

Congress President Birjit Sinha, Congress Secretary Swagat Das, Block Congress President Ashish Sengupta, District Congress President Md. Badrujman, Congress leader Renu Miah were in the sitting demonstration. 

Congress in Kailshahar in a separate place also has placed a deputation to the SDM with 18 points of demands.

The demands include: 1) Agnipath scheme has to be withdrawn,

2) 340 MGNREGA wages as per the promise of the Govt made earlier,

3) Drinking water supplies,

4) Mudra Loans of Rs. 5 lakhs at least for the unemployed youths,

5) Arrests of the miscreants who attacked the Congress workers,

6) Development Council formation for development of undeveloped 50 communities etc
