AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Accepting ‘vendetta transfer policy’ is a part of Tripura’s political culture, starting from the CPI-M era, Congress leader Asish Saha on Monday stated that such partial attitudes of the Govt must meet an end.

“Students and guardians are in protests against such illogical transfers of teachers and Congress is with the protesters”, said Asish Saha.

The statement from Saha came after dozens of protests were held in the last week in various schools against teachers’ transfers.

Asish Saha was participating in a protest organized by Youth Congress at Orient Chowmuhani, when he said so.
