AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): In protest against the attack on journalist Tapas Das and the police’s failure to arrest any of the culprits, journalists on Wednesday staged a demonstration in front of the NCC PS.
On July 3, senior journalist Tapas Das was attacked in Indranagar area in Agartala by miscreants.
He was rushed to GB hospital and underwent a CT scan and treatment. He is not yet fully recovered
Journalist bodies have condemned the incident. Tapas Das is a reporter for the local Bengali newspaper Syandan Patrika.
