AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): A 39 years old man identified as Barun Tanti was injured after he was beaten up by miscreants last night after 11 Pm.

According to his versioned story while he was bringing food from outside for his daughter, the miscreants had attacked him.

After being beaten up he was taken to hospital for primary treatment while returning he was again beaten up in presence of his wife at his stitch on the forehead, also his wife was beaten up, he alleged.

The injured man filed a case at NCC PS and Women PS against the alleged attackers named Amit Debnath, Sujit Debnath, Abhijit Debnath, Montu Debnath, Malu Debnath.

Reportedly, the young man is a BJP supporter.
